Dear Member companies, Friends, Members of Women Business Leaders Forum, Members of CEO Forum, Supporters of 2020 minimum20, Leaders and Members of HBLF working groups, Participants of the Finance Summit / Hard Talk Events, and all of our friends, supporters who contribute to the success of HBLF and our work!
Allow me as the President of HBLF to wish you a happy and prosperous New Year!
Our organization has celebrated its 25th anniversary, during the events more than 500 participants attended from the business-public- and private sectors to celebrate with us our 25-year-long actions and its positive social and economic impact on Hungary. In 1992 HRH The Prince of Wales established HBLF on 11 innovative company leader’s initiative with the aim to promote social, environmental and economic development in Hungary in a sustainable way. We wish to thank our Member companies for contributing actively to the achievement of our mission over the past quarter-century, with this committed work you contribute to the sustainable development of our country.
In 2018 we will continue our flagship programs: the HBLF Financial Summit and The Hard Talk Series, the CEO Forum meetings and the Women Business Leaders Forum’s events. In 2018 we will maintain the European Diversity Charter in Hungary initiative, as well as within the 202020 Club we will sustain our advocacy towards a diverse working environment and to increase the proportion of female leaders in Hungary.
I would like to draw your attention to the activity of HBLF ROMASTER Foundation and the importance of 1% donations to ensure adequate financial resources, which will be a great help to the dedicated work carried out by the staff of HBLF. This year, it is possible to name our sponsors personally.
I am pleased to announce with great pleasure that the executive director of HBLF, Eszter Pataki, had brought a little girl to life. In the name of HBLF, we wish both Sára and her parents all the happiness and health. During Eszter’s absence, the acting managing director will be Viktória Kerek.
