2021.03.16. Working Diversity at the Bosch Group in Hungary / Master Class 4.

The Master Classes is the EU Diversity Charter Hungary’s series of programs for sharing diverse practices.

The EU Diversity Charter Hungary Masters Classes program series has continued on the 16th March, where Teodóra Bodó, Director of Communication and Governmental Affairs of the Bosch Group in Hungary and the Adriatic Region, and Klára Gombos, Local HR Director at Robert Bosch Kft. shared several useful good practice examples in their workshop entitled “Diversity at the Bosch Group in Hungary”.

Diversity is an integral part of Bosch Group’s corporate strategy. The presentation started with an overview to understand why they think that diversity and inclusion is in their DNA, the foundation of their success.

Good practices, and activities in order to develop and encourage organizations to implement diversity and inclusion policies are the base of Bosch Group diversity strategy. With several events and projects like Girls’ day, Bosch Hungary would like to encourage young women to choose technical professions.

Teodóra introduced Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH, one of the largest foundations in Europe associated with a private company.  The participants had a chance to learn about 3 different projects focusing on education, health and global issues. With the help of these programs Bosch Group makes diversity the norm in everyday life.

The workshop was closed with the presentation of Virtual Diversity Week 2021, which was a one-week long event with more than 500 workshop participants and 26 keynote speakers. This event’s goal was to give participants an opportunity to learn from each other and take a closer look at diversity.
