HeForShe

The private sector has a crucial role to play as an accelerator of social change. Studies show that equality is achievable in the workplace and beneficial to the bottom line. By promoting men and women at equal rates, providing good parental leave and refusing to accept bias and discrimination, businesses can break down barriers and pave the way to a new future.

Under the HeForShe effort, ten business leaders are serving as IMPACT Champions who are already making a difference. Over the next five years, their ten companies should serve as incubators for innovation and role models of gender equality. And over the next 15 years, we aim to achieve both the Sustainable Development Goals and full balance through the “Planet 50-50 by 2030” effort being led by UN Women. The IMPACT Champions can help shorten those timelines and drive equality in critical areas.

A mesterséges intelligencia és a robotok mára a gazdaság fontos elemeivé váltak, így egyre fontosabb, hogyan reagálunk a technológia fejlődésére.  A HBLF szeptemberben induló Digitális Munkacsoportja, melynek vezetője Veres Rita, az Aon Hewitt cégvezetője és a Singularity University budapesti nagykövete lesz, arra keresi majd a választ, hogy az éppen zajló ipari forradalom 4.0 során az exponenciálisan fejlődő technológiával hogyan tudunk lépést tartani.

HBLF 25th Anniversary Week

The Hungarian Business Leaders Forum has come to a significant milestone this year, celebrating its 25th anniversary. HBLF was founded by the personal support of HRH the Prince of Wales in 1992. HRH Prince Charles initiative was joined by 11 visionary business leaders. Our mission is the same since the foundation, namely, to encourage companies to integrate corporate and social responsibility and the principles of sustainable development into the everyday business practice.  

HBLF launched its Y-Mentoring program in collaboration with Business Women's Network in 2017. The purpose of the mentoring program between companies is to support the orientation and development opportunities in the professional life of Y generation women.
