Professional introduction, key professional achievements
I'm Timi, and I support leaders and teams as a coach, consultant, and facilitator with a background in psychology. My focus is on helping people and organizations not just function, but truly thrive. I’ve worked with 40+ organisations across IT, FMCG, retail, production, and non-profits, and I hold 10+ years of experience in this field.
A few things I'm proud of:
Successfully relocated, founded my own company, and bought a house in the Netherlands with my husband.
Over 750 coaching hours logged since 2017, working with leaders across European corporate environments.
ICF PCC credential— a standard that requires demonstrated coaching quality, not just training hours. I recently started teaching coaching.
Platinum Certified, award-winning #IAmRemarkable facilitator, running sessions that help people — especially women — own their achievements without apology.
Recently co-founded New Roots Mentoring, a program supporting international professionals building careers and networks in the Netherlands.
Why would you like to join the HBLF International X Mentor Programme?
I’ve been supporting this program as an Advisory Board member from the very start, since 2017. I feel honored that I can also be a mentor.
I believe that I would be a valuable mentor in the X Mentor Program for those seeking a coaching-mindset mentor to grow.
I’m happy to share my expertise in entrepreneurship, freelancing, culture and leadership development, and mental health. Having recently moved abroad, I have insights and fresh experiences to offer about that change, too.
My approach blends coaching and mentoring. I prioritize self-discovery but share personal experiences when helpful.
Have you had a mentor or have you mentor before? What has it given to you?
Mentoring has shaped my journey in so many ways. I’ve had the privilege of mentoring others, and I’ve also learned a lot as a mentee. Over the years, I coordinated three mentoring programs: two supporting women in Hungary and one for expats in the Netherlands. I’ve trained mentors and mentees to be successful, both in non-profit and for-profit settings. In 2021, my mentees surprised me with a Mentor Oscar nomination, which meant the world to me. I truly believe that anyone can become a mentor. If you feel motivated to help, you already have most of what it takes.
The energy you put into the world around you is the energy that finds its way back to you.
