The HBLF Sustainability Working Group’s latest professional event, where participants gained a comprehensive overview of the rapidly evolving landscape of ESG regulation and the practical challenges of the corporate certification process, was hosted by MFB – Hungarian Development Bank.
Our speakers—Ákos Veisz (Managing Director of BDO Hungary’s ESG Advisory Practice and Head of the HBLF Sustainability Working Group) and Dániel Erdélyi (Head of Department at the Supervisory Authority for Regulated Activities)—provided a detailed overview of the current state of ESG regulation in Hungary, the compliance obligations applicable to companies, and the key steps and strategies involved in the ESG certification process.
