HBLF TOP20 Compliance Leaders 2025
The Hungarian Business Leaders Forum invited applications for the first TOP20 Compliance Leaders list, in partnership with the Hungarian Corporate Compliance Association and Opten Informatikai Kft.
We are delighted to announce that we presented the TOP20 Compliance Leaders Awards at a ceremony held at the HBLF Year-End Ceremony, which took place at KPMG's headquarters. We are particularly pleased that this first-time competition allowed us to recognize exceptional professionals who make an outstanding contribution to responsible, ethical, and transparent corporate operations.

What is our goal?
The Hungarian Business Leaders Forum is a non-profit organisation that aims to build and support responsible and ethical corporate governance and corporate culture in Hungary.
With the TOP20 Compliance Leaders List, we want to give visibility to Hungarian good practices and professionals who:
- Represent responsible and ethical corporate governance and operations,
- Shaping a culture within their company,
- Shaping corporate governance and ethics and creating a culture within their company,
- and set an example through their professional commitment.
Who can make it into the TOP20?
Professionals who:
- are in a leadership position in compliance / ethics / risk management / legal / ESG
- have at least 5 years of compliance experience,
- actively contribute to the ethical operation of their company, and
- have a positive impact on their environment through their professional or social activities.
Key criteria to be considered during the application process:
- Promoting ethical and transparent operations within the company
- Role in developing a compliance culture
- Contribution to the promotion of corporate social responsibility
- Education and knowledge sharing
- Publications, presentations, media coverage
- International professional impact
Important dates, deadlines:
- 30 September 12.00 noon: Deadline for submission of applications
- October: pre-screening and jurying
- 26 November 17.00: Awards Ceremony, official announcement, certificates and public recognition
