How can responsible governance become a true driver of business success, resilience, and long-term value creation?

These questions were at the heart of the Responsible Governance for Successful Business event, jointly organized by hashtagHBLF and the Budapest Stock Exchange, bringing together senior business leaders and experts to explore the strategic importance of the social and governance dimensions of ESG.

The event was opened by István Máté-Tóth, CFA, Deputy CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange, and Andrea Istenes Solti, President of HBLF.

We were honored to welcome Hedwige Nuyens, CEO of the International Banking Federation and Chair of European Women on Boards (EWOB), whose keynote address provided valuable international perspectives on responsible leadership, board effectiveness, and the business case for diverse leadership.

The discussion continued with two outstanding panels featuring:

The Equity Dividend: Leadership, Performance and Measurable Impact
Ágnes Kovács, CEO, Coca-Cola HBC Hungary
László Hankiss, Deputy CEO, Gránit Bank
Magdolna Tokai, Deputy CEO, ALTEO
• Moderated by János Strohmayer, Budapest Office Leader, Egon Zehnder
