Introduction

• 23 years of international management career in IBM, managing teams in CEE, MEA, and finally leading IBM Europe Cyber Security business
• Designing and leading a US cybersecurity startup's European foundation and expansion, founding country legal entities and a global delivery center (SOC)
• Moved to the United Arab Emirates  to build a startup, Kerno, manufacturing AI enterprise grade servers and storage, I am responsible for the internal security, building the security offering business line and solutions

Why would you like to participate in the HBLF International X Mentor Program?

In whole of my career I had the privilege to have great mentors. They contributed to good decisions and major career changes. I understand and embrace the impact and  importance of a proper coaching ecosystem, for leaders on every level, and I am doing my best to give back to new generations.

Have you ever had a mentor, or have you ever mentored someone? What did that mean to you?

Yes, I always had mentors, some of them assigned by my organization,  some of them naturally became mentors ( previous leaders of mine who moved on but relationship stayed) or mentors selected  by myself. This meant the unconditional honest feedback and a professional 3rd party view, which could keep me on or pulled me back on track. In parallel I always had mentees, this was part of my management system and used the feedback to improve my own leadership style.
