Marianna Agárdi

Introduction

I have over 25 years’ professional experience in the financial/funding sector. I have worked for international banks and their subsidiaries (K&H Bank, CIB Bank, Rabobank/De Lage Landen, BNP Paribas/Arval) in finance, risk management and sales roles. For the past 7 years, I have been supporting and managing my colleagues as a company director.
In 2025, I was elected President of the Hungarian Leasing Association, which I consider a tremendous honour.

Why would you like to join the HBLF International X Mentor Programme?

It is an honour for me to support talented young people and to be able to contribute to building their future. I myself have learnt a great deal from my mentors, which continues to help me in my day-to-day life, and I believe that, drawing on the experience I have gained, I can also provide useful advice to the mentees taking part in the programme.ű

Have you had a mentor or have you mentor before? What has it given to you? 

Both :) Which means: giving and receiving, learning from one another. Continuous development as both mentor and mentee, whichever role you’re in.
