Orsolya Ivancsik

Introduction

I started my career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then moved to the insurance sector, where I gained experience in corporate governance. I have more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector: banking, insurance and leasing.

Currently, as Managing Director of Corporate Governance at Merkantil Bank, I oversee 9 areas.

In addition to the above, I am responsible for the management of OTP Ingatlanlízing Zrt. In addition to these, I am a member of the Board of Directors of OTP Real Estate Leasing and a member of the Supervisory Board of OTP Travel, which gives me an insight into these sectors.

I passionately believe that the key to success is continuous improvement and real value creation. Most recently, I studied for an Executive MBA in English at the Corvinus and Maastricht Universities in Budapest, and attended the Executive Leadership training at the London Business School to develop my strategy-making skills.

I am passionate about communication and I like meeting new people.

I am passionate about social responsibility, and I am constantly involved in this area, prioritising volunteering both as a private citizen and as a leader. 
I feel it is my mission to develop financial awareness.
