Rezső Rózsai

I began my career in 1997 at KPMG in Hungary. In the course of a dynamic career path, starting in 2002 I began working as a manager in Audit, was selected for partnership in 2008, and appointed as Head of Audit in 2014. I have led the audit of many significant companies in Hungary and also gained extensive experience in corporate finance and restructuring, acquisitions-related financial and IFRS conversions. Following my appointment as Head of the Firm in 2019, I also led KPMG in Hungary's Audit practice until 2024. From 1 October 2026 I am moving to a regional role and take over as Head of Audit in KPMG CEE, leading the Audit Function of a Cluster of 16 countries with nearly 3000 audit professionals.

In 2026 I was awarded with BBJ CEO of the Year for the Community Award.
