One year, a top executive mentor, countless new opportunities – a look back at the HBLF International X Mentor Programme, Season 8. Another year that has shown that mentoring is not just about sharing knowledge, but also about inspiration, community-building and mutual development.
The 2025/2026 year started with a record number of applicants: a total of 82 mentees took part in the programme (52 women and 30 men), including 6 scholarship holders and 13 participants in the WILL programme.
Our mentors, who are recognised business leaders and industry experts, supported the professional and personal development of their mentees for a year on a pro bono basis as part of their social engagement. Through their knowledge, experience and commitment, they create genuine value that extends beyond the scope of the programme.
The mentoring process was complemented by three premium workshops:

The mentees were also invited to other HBLF events, including the extended session of the HBLF HR Workshop (‘Above Us or With Us? – Transformative AI and Strategic Challenges’) and the impactABLE Festival.
A key milestone for this year’s season was our first-ever participation in the WILL Foundation for Women Leaders’ Women in Leadership League programme, which has created new opportunities to support women leaders and strengthen leadership communities.
The programme began with a kick-off event held at Diageo’s Budapest office and concluded with a closing event at Deloitte, where we celebrated our achievements together
