A historical meeting at the 25th HBLF Financial Summit

On 14 February 2025, the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum held its 25th anniversary Financial Summit, where for the first time the most important finance ministers and central bank governors of the past 35 years, Zsigmond Járai, Péter Oszkó, Ákos Bod Péter and Csaba László, discussed the past three decades of economic policy together. The discussion focused on stability, transparent decision-making and the lessons of political-economic cycles, moderated by Borbála Czakó, Honorary President of the HBLF.

The event was also addressed by Tibor Navracsics, Minister of Public Administration and Regional Development, who spoke about the fate of EU funds and the main directions of development policy, and by Richárd Szabados, State Secretary, who spoke about strengthening the SME sector. Another key topic of the summit was the economic relationship between the EU and the United States, with a special focus on preserving global stability. HBLF remains committed to an open, diverse and professionally credible dialogue.
