Special evening at the Chinese Cultural Center in Budapest.
The HBLF Women's Forum members took part in an exclusive program last Friday at the Chinese Cultural Center in Budapest, where Judit Éva Nagy, president of the Hungarian-Chinese Friendship Association, presented the exhibition "Timeless Modernity – Hungarian Architectural Heritage in Shanghai" to the guests.
Wang Rudong, the new director of the Chinese Cultural Center, gave a welcoming speech. This was followed by a conversation between Kossuth Prize-winning architect Gábor Zoboki and Borbála Czakó, president of the HBLF Women's Forum, about the influence of Hungarian architects on the cityscapes of Shanghai and Shenzhen, cultural connections, and the storytelling power of cities.
The exhibition also touched on personal stories: Borbála's family's history in Shanghai was given a special place in the exhibition, adding a deeper, personal dimension to the evening.

The meeting was another step in the preparation of the HBLF Women's Forum professional study trip to China planned for October 2026.
